Readings For Tuesday the 26th

I was reading the Barnet book on the subway and it is fantastic. I encourage you to read through the first thirty pages at least, esp the part discussing the meaning of art. However, for class on tuesday please have read (and ready to discuss) the sample essay on pages 16- 20. As far as writing books go (and I've read a fair number of them) this book is excellent and will provide you with a wealth of knowledge that I can only hope to accentuate.
